Bobby Lashley, the professional wrestler, made his return to WWE action at a live event. After being drafted to “WWE SmackDown,” he had not been featured much on television or in house shows.
However, on June 17, Lashley emerged victorious in a singles match against Karrion Kross at a WWE Supershow in Cincinnati, Ohio. The reason for his month-long absence remains unknown. Lashley’s year has been eventful, starting with his challenge for the United States Championship against Austin Theory.
He also participated in the Royal Rumble and had a rematch with Brock Lesnar at WWE Elimination Chamber. Due to Bray Wyatt’s absence, Lashley won the Andre the Giant memorial battle royal and later competed for the U.S. title at WWE Backlash.
