Shocking Arrest Made in Missing Woman’s Case: Father of Children Detained

Madeline Kingsbury

The father of Madeline Kingsbury’s children has been arrested in connection with her disappearance, according to the Winona Police Department.

Adam Fravel, 29, was taken into custody on Wednesday after human remains were discovered in Fillmore County, Minnesota. Although charges against Fravel have not been officially announced, he is being detained on a second-degree murder charge, as indicated by records from the Winona County Detention Center.

Authorities are working with various state and local agencies to identify the remains. Kingsbury, 26, went missing on March 31, and evidence suggests her disappearance was involuntary and suspicious.

Fravel has denied any involvement in her disappearance. The Winona County Health and Human Services Department has taken custody of Kingsbury’s children, and a judge has ruled that they will remain in county custody instead of being released to their father. Further details about the case are expected to be provided during a news conference on Thursday.
