HBO announced a new "Game of Thrones" prequel called "A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms."

The show is based on George R.R. Martin's "Tales of Dunk and Egg" novellas.

The novellas are set in the same world as "Game of Thrones" but take place 90 years earlier.

The series follows the adventures of a young knight named Ser Duncan the Tall and his squire, a young Aegon Targaryen.

"House of the Dragon" is based on Martin's "Fire & Blood" book and explores the history of House Targaryen.
